Some recent highlights of my performing work

I recorded and broadcast the very first Welsh Medium advert for Radio Cardiff. (January 2011)

I was a guest soloist  with 'Cor Godre'r Garth' in their recent trip to the South of France:

La Vie en Rose:                                         Hymne a'L'Amour:

Since the beginning of August 2010, I have been co-presenting'Return of the Mac' Radio programme  with Neil McEvoy on Radio Cardiff every Tuesday from 12.45 -1.15  (98.7FM) as Gwenno Dafydd - (Probably) The Welshiest Woman in Wales - she's got an opinion on everything!   I did two shows on my own whilst the Mac was waiting to return (from holiday) with my own very special guests!

On the 12th and 13th June  2010 I had the honour of singing the Welsh National Anthem at  the 2010 Welsh Senior Open Championships and Commonwealth Games Trials  and U13 and U15 Championships at Cardiff International Sports Stadium,Leckwith. I was wearing a dress made by Rebecca Williams, an A Level Textiles pupil at Fishguard School, based on the Pembrokeshire Banner. This was the very first time this had happened and following a very positve response it is quite likely that this will become a tradition.

I have been working with Heather Jones on behalf of the "Music in Hospitals" charity since July 2010  singing in hospitals, hospices and old-people's homes when not engaged in my other freelance professional work.

Saint David's Day Song                                                                                              I sang at the Pembrokeshire Banner's 'Homecoming Ceremony' at Saint David's Cathedral in February 2010, for Rhodri Morgan at one of his very last events as Welsh First Minister in November 2009 in the presence of Dennis O'Neill and 170 members of the Welsh business community,  and at the last five National Saint David's Day Parades.

Special guest of Griff Rhys Jones at a charity concert at 'Trehilin', his farm in North Pembrokeshire August 2009

Piaf' - French song set  -   Tesco Stage, Millenium Centre, Cardiff, Bastille Day July 2008.

Special guest singer - Mayor of Fishguard (Cllr.Richard Davies) in his annual charity dinner, Fishguard Bay Hotel. March 2008

Stand-up comedy as Bodicea – Queen of HRT. Laughing Cows’ at the Frog and Bucket, Manchester. First Welsh performer.  January 2008
